Martha Wall
With over 20 years’ experience, Martha is passionate about sustainable landscape design and well-delivered projects, which are sensitive to context, place-making and the community they serve.
Highly experienced in developing strong design solutions with attention to detail, Martha skilfully conveys them within information packages for planning, tender and delivery on site.
Martha thrives on challenging projects, and is expert at working with multiple stakeholders. Parque del Renacuajo (Tadpole Park) (2018) saw the ‘metamorphosis’ of derelict land, covered with invasive, non-native pampas grass into a park with a pond, hedgerow, meadow grass, dry stone walls and gabions. Situated adjacent to a school and planted with native species the park has become an essential resource for the school, as an outdoor classroom and an extension to the playground. It was submitted as part of the ‘peoples proposals’ for the council budget and voted on by the public of Santander.
In her free time, Martha is working on a productive garden, having completed work on the family’s passive house.
